Hi! I'm Karleena Snow. I am a home-based baker residing in Northern Utah County, specializing in creating custom cakes, cupcakes, and more.
I have spent nearly two decades serving in the healthcare field, with the last 10 years spent as a Nurse Practitioner, mostly in the Heart Failure specialty. I have spent countless hours helping people strengthen their hearts in the most literal sense. I also have 18 years of experience as a home baker - helping people's hearts find wholeness in a more metaphorical sense. The heart has always been at the center of everything I do - whether it's supporting someone's physical healing or creating something sweet that brings comfort, celebration, and connection. Recently, I've stepped back from a full-time role as an NP to focus more on my own health, my family, and creating this bakery - a dream that blends my love of the heart and my passion for care and creativity.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I was 1 year old and have spent my life trying to navigate the gluten-free diet. Growing up, I always struggled with eating GF baked goods because I just didn't find them appetizing. My mom mastered a few of them when I was growing up, and these are recipes I hold dear. I've now dedicated a lot of time expanding my collection of GOOD(!) GF recipes - as I've discovered a lot has improved in GF baking over the years.
I'm married to my best friend (the best husband a girl could ask for!), and am a proud mom to three, stepmom to three, and a mother-in-law to one more - making life beautifully full. When I'm not in the clinic or in the kitchen, you might find me hiking scenic trails or exploring new places through travel with my family.
